Welcome

Located a stone throw away from the Trevi Fountain, on a charming little cobblestone street called Vicolo del Babuccio, this apartment is truly a gem. Being situated on a very quiet street, you’ll forget that you are even in the heart of the Eternal City near restaurants, attractions and shops. Owned by a famous Italian choreographer and contemporary dancer, Patrizia Cerroni, this place breathes her beautiful charismatic energy.

When you first step into this entirely renovated apartment, you’ll immediately notice the original decor and colors. The hard wood floors and typically Roman exposed wooden beams on the ceilings will make you feel nice and cosy in your home in Rome. Throughout the apartment, vintage posters and photographs of Patrizia’s shows with her world renowned dance troupe, “I Danzatori Scalzi”, decorate the walls and ceilings. A few steps from the entrance, a rich library with books of all genres cover two entire walls. The common area acts a little like a living and a dining room, as there are stools for 10 people. A family can comfortably watch a movie on the flat screen 48’’ television in that space. Here, you can also prepare and enjoy breakfast or light meals. A small refrigerator enables you to do a little grocery shopping.

This fully air conditioned apartment has 4 large bedrooms. Each one offers an en suite bathroom complete with a shower, as well as a flat screen television, a refrigerator and a security box.  WiFi internet is also available throughout the entire structure.

The first bedroom, called “Cleopatra”, one of Patrizia’s shows that opened at the Opera House in Rome,  is a spacious suite with a superbly comfortable round shaped bed. Artistic wall decorations add warmth and style to this bright room; its two large windows let in plenty of sunlight. This first bedroom also offers a sofa which can comfortably sleep 2 people, as well as plenty of storage space.

The second bedroom, named “Winds in the Body”, another show that opened at the Olympic Theatre in Rome, is characterized by its very calming setting with a Van Gogh’s image on  its purple wall and lush draperies. Here, there is a comfortable king size bed, a chest of drawers and a cupboard.

The third bedroom, “Tosca”, a show that has been created for Castel Saint Angelo,  welcomes you with its Raphael’s angels’ vintage poster of the 60s hanging right above the bed. A small table, two chairs, and an antique desk make this room both practical and cozy.

At the opposite end of the apartment, there is a comfy bedroom with a bed for two people just up a few steps. This room called “Hyde & Eva” has a big  glass window from where you can even spot the Italian flag over the Quirinal Palace! It also has its beautiful private bathroom  with a window that has this nice  view as well.

Finally, a sweet little balcony with lots of plants and flowers makes it possible for you to step out and breathe in some fresh air without t leaving your apartment. Where is it located?

This apartment is especially recommended for big families of groups of friends who want to be right in the middle of Rome’s action while having a peaceful place to call home while visiting the Eternal City.
